Unmet Expectations
January 7th to April 15th

Tuesday Evenings
7:00-8:30 PM
To cut to the chase, life doesn't always turn out the way we imagined. Yet, we can still respond in God-glorifying ways even when circumstances fall short of our desired hopes and expectations. With practical, biblical counsel from the Scriptures, we have the tools we need to put away sinful responses and become women who smile at the future (Proverbs 31:25), becoming colorful umbrellas in this stormy, sad and bleak world. In reshaping how we think about disappointments, trials, and delays, we can grow in contentment, trust, and hope in the unexpected parts of life, shining with trust in our Savior. We will read each chapter individually which will help us glean truth from Scripture, giving us the life-transforming help that only God can provide. Then, we will be come to study, prepared to answer questions in small groups after we have benefited from a review of the chapter in our large group.
Each week, we will enjoy teaching in a large group and small group discussion afterwards.
